Bridal Fashion Done Right: A Tale of Two Dresses and Four Pairs of Shoes<\/span><\/h2>\n

My wedding day looks were incredibly fun! I had two dresses<\/span><\/a> and four different pairs of <\/span>shoes<\/span><\/a>. I got my wedding dress at <\/span>Kleinfeld Bridal<\/span><\/a>, which was so special because my mom got her dress there over 25 years ago. I went with my maid of honor and my mom’s maid of honor, and it was such a special moment for all of us. My second dress was a super fun party dress from <\/span>Nadine Merabi<\/span><\/a>. For our ceremony<\/span><\/a>, we had a beautiful chuppah adorned with flowers and draping over the top. My childhood <\/span>Rabbi<\/span><\/a> officiated, using a wine cup from both my family and Adam’s. The Rabbi had known both of our families for years, so it was incredibly meaningful to have him perform the marriage blessing for us.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

We hired a planner<\/span><\/a> to help us with the wedding from start to finish, and it was amazing. They took so much off our plate, especially in the week and day leading up to the wedding. I highly recommend getting a planner at least for the final month so you don’t have to stress as much! Make sure to really soak in the small moments—they go by so fast.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

We didn’t fully know what the room would look like. We knew the layout and the colors, but we had no idea just how grand it would actually turn out. When we walked into the reception space, our jaws dropped—we were blown away by the design and the elaborate florals. Watching our guests walk in and seeing their jaws drop too was an incredible moment. To this day, we still receive compliments on the flowers<\/span><\/a> from our reception and ceremony. Not only were they impressive, but our <\/span>florist<\/span><\/a> did an incredible job setting them up and getting super creative. I’m also proud of how smoothly everything went. I tend to stress about all the little details, but the day went off without a hitch—from getting ready in the morning to our first look, wedding party photos, ceremony, reception, and exit. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfectly executed day.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

Aerialist Entertainment and Unique Wedding Details That Wow Guests<\/span><\/h2>\n

We surprised our guests with an aerialist performance<\/span><\/a> as soon as they walked into the reception space. Dressed in a sparkly red outfit that perfectly matched the room’s vibe, she provided fantastic entertainment that had everyone buzzing. Our guests even compared it to a Cirque du Soleil show! For the engaged couples in attendance, we gave out <\/span>champagne bottles<\/span><\/a> with custom labels that read, “Congratulations, you’re next!” Our <\/span>seating chart<\/span><\/a> was a fun <\/span>dog-themed<\/span><\/a> affair, with table numbers displayed on little tennis balls that guests loved taking home for their pets. Instead of a traditional cake, we opted for cookies and <\/span>ice cream sandwiches<\/span><\/a> from <\/span>Pokey O’s Cookies & Ice Cream<\/span><\/a>, which was a huge hit. We also made sure to keep the energy high by having <\/span>Nightowl Coffee<\/span><\/a> available all night so everyone could keep dancing with us.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
